Cycle parking outside the council buildings on the High Street.

Cycle stands outside Linlithgow Library.

The path around Linlithgow Loch.

It always surprises me what some folk will mark as suitable for cycling on OSM. Railway bridge with steps both sides.

A steep ramp up to a railway bridge, only really useful for walking.

Easy access to the Union Canal in Linlithgow.

The barrier across the top end of the steep "pedestrian access route" to Linlithgow station.

A resonable gap between the railings, but wouldn't bollards do the job?

Path not obvious due to poor signage and bushes

Hartwood Road Reasonably quiet road, wide with good lengths of visibility. Potential for shared use path in places and or cycle lane marked on the road.

Burngrange Park Path crossing the park from Hartwood Road to Burngrange Park is made up of whinstone and recycled plastic board walk.

Appears to have been a short cut worn down by casual use and no longer used, overgrown and blocked at the south end. Not considered passable.

The road is wide enough for potential cycle infrastructure. There is central hatching and several traffic islands which cause pinch points. Removal of these would free up space for on road cycle lane or shared use path on the north side. Th ... [more]

The footway on the north side of the A71 west of West Calder to Addiewell and Breich could be suitable for shared path use. Needs cleaning, removal of, encroachment.

The footway on the north side of the A71 west of West Calder to Addiewell and Breich could be suitable for shared path use. There is probably more path buried beneath. Needs cleaning, removal of, encroachment.
